Folic acid is important for the healthy growth of the fetus and lowering risks of birth defects. Almonds are a complete food and contain numerous nutrients that support a healthy pregnancy. 6. Spinach

It is a good source of vitamins A, B2, C and K, and also contains magnesium, manganese, folate, iron, calcium and potassium.
