3 tips to help you reach your health and fitness goals!

I was recently on YouTube watching a video by motivational speaker Tony Robbins. In this particular video he talked about how having the the right daily rituals will lead to success in life. This principle is so true, especially when it comes to fitness. I believe many people want to get their bodies healthy but they often just don't know what they need to do to get there.
It's so important to find activities that suit the goals you want to accomplish, stay consistent, eat well and have a system that allows you to track your progress. As a personal trainer, I’ve found that many people fail to do these things when making the commitment to get healthy.
Here are a few pointers that will help you reach your goals safely one step at a time:
Develop the right eating habits.
How you eat is 80 percent of how you look and feel. Raise the bar higher for yourself by getting rid of the processed foods. Start eating foods that are more dense with vitamins and minerals like fruit, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Your body can undergo some major physical changes just by making this commitment.
Keep records of your workouts.
To achieve the best results the average person needs at least three to four days a week of strength and cardio conditioning for 40 minutes to an hour per session. Start writing down how long it takes to finish a workout, the amount of reps you are doing, how much weight is being lifted, and how you feel after each session. This will help you avoid getting stuck in the same routine and allows you to visualize progress being made.

Visit your doctor regularly.
The doctor knows best. If you have a condition that may hinder you from activities that will help you get healthy, your doctor can communicate different methods to help with overcoming those issues.
It can be challenging to put all of things on your plate when it's full already. Try to keep in mind of the benefits and the finished product of your dedication to doing the right things for your body.
Find a local area trainer or fitness professional if you need help. There plenty of talented people in health clubs everywhere who want you to succeed. Work hard, don't give up, and keep being awesome.
